About the Show

At Unfinished Arguments, we believe the most meaningful conversations don’t always end in agreement — and that’s the point. Our show is a space for thoughtful, civil disagreements on politics, technology, and philosophy. We bring facts to the table, question our own assumptions, and stay curious about perspectives that challenge us.

We’re not here to win debates or score points. We’re here to understand — and to invite you into the kind of dialogue that sharpens ideas rather than divides people. Whether we’re unpacking policy shifts, exploring the ethics of AI, or wrestling with age-old philosophical questions, we approach every topic with open minds, evidence in hand, and a commitment to disagree without being disagreeable.

Join us at the table for conversations that don’t promise easy answers — just more thoughtful questions.

Co-host • Senior Software Developer • Seattle, WA

Evan Paige (he/him) is the co-host of Unfinished Arguments, a senior software developer, and a U.S. Army veteran (2010–2014). A lifelong fan of deep conversations, Evan has always been drawn to the kind of debates that linger long after they end.

He and his co-host Nick have been friends since their freshman year of high school in Douglasville, Georgia. Even though they’ve spent years living in different places — Evan now calls South Seattle home — their habit of long, thoughtful debates never faded. Eventually, they decided to bring those conversations to the mic, convinced that sharing them could show how disagreement doesn’t have to mean division.

Evan’s curiosity is fueled by a desire for more than progress. He wants justice, peace, and a society where everyone has what they need to flourish. He believes it’s possible, even if the answers aren’t simple. That outlook shaped his journey from the Army into coding, thanks to a nudge from his dad, who saw that Evan loved building things that come alive on the screen.

When he’s not recording or writing code, Evan can usually be found cooking bold meals for Cassidy (his partner of more than 11 years), experimenting with bourbon cocktails, tending the garden, lifting heavy things for fun, or binge-watching shows with Cassidy and their cats, Levi and Lilly.
